My son and I took our new to us Arisaka Type 99 to the range today. Special thanks to Gandog56 for sending me some brass and projectiles in order to make this happen. It shot surprisingly well for us. My son yelled Bonsai not sure if that helped or not. I had no pressure or head space issues. I will have to find some dies or at least a neck sizer for this one. I am trying to post a picture of the target. I shot at 50 yards not expecting much, but it shot really well for the old gun. The load of powder was 44.2 grains of IMR 4895. Target on right was my son shooting off the bench and the left target was me off hand. Had a great time with the pistols and shotgun as well.
