    @#$%$# Rain!

I got a new pistol last week, and every single day since it has rained! I want's to go out and shoots this puppy! I mean a solid week of rain, I'm looking at the weather report, and they are calling for rain Sat, and Sun STILL! And my brother from Milwaukee is flying down for a week Tuesday. And he is not a guy what wants to go out shooting!

    Woe is me!

Dude, I have already had 3 cases of pneumonia this year alone. I don't want another.

Think I'll take all my Swiss rifles and my type 99 Arisaka and see which shoots the best. My new P250 9mm/.40 cal/357 SIG pistol, and my Dan Wesson pistol pack and all six barrels.

As an aside, I did get to the range today. My Type 99 Arisaka smoked the two Swiss rifles in accuracy. But like a dummy I didn't let the caffeine kick in before I left, and forgot to take the caps for my cap and ball black powder pistol.

I reload the GP-11 brass. What you said would never happen, here. My type 99s are finicky.
    Load and shoot: 6.5mm (Dutch, Jap., Carcano, Swede), 7x57, 7.35 Carcano, 7.5mm (Mas, Swiss), 303 British, 7.65x53, 7.7 Jap, 7.62x51, 30-06, 8x50R & 8x52R Siamese, 30-40 Krag, 8x57, 7.62x39, 7.62x54R, 8x 56R, 30 Carbine, 450/577 Martini, 300 Win Mag, 45 LC.

I also like the 99 sights better than the Swiss's.

Agree about the sights although the T99 would have been better still farther back on the receiver.

Have to wonder about how useful the ones with the anti-aircraft sights really were, though.
