    New Rotary Tumbler

Just got a new rotary tumbler with steel media. Hoping it gives me brass that looks just like Happyguy's (Anybody who has made a trade with him knows what I am talking about!)

Tired of my vibratory one not cleaning the black out of my primer pockets.

1-2 lbs less brass than pins and I run mine about 85 rpm. It does work depending on how messed up the brass is and how long you run them for.

Which is why I tried the rotary with steel. I have a perfect functioning vibratory tumbler. Makes a good backup if I have a TON of brass to process at one time.

Use the vibratory tumbler with corn cob to dry the cleaned brass. I just shake the cleaned brass around in a towel to get most of the water off and out of and then dump it in the corn cob to dry, about 15 minutes and no water spots. I use steel shot and not stainless steel pins. David

What size steel shot? I mean the pins came with the tumbler, so I'm going to try them first, but if they DON'T do the same for my brass as yours......

I mean that's why I am even trying it. Because the brass I have traded with you looked so shiny I thought you sent me virgin brass.

Thank you, going right to Graf and Sons to see if they carry it. Like them because they give good discounts for having a copy of my C&R on file with them.

Edit: Went there, they do and even better yet, still in stock! But like I said, I'll try the pins out first.
