Been pondering the reduction of activity on this great trading site. At one time, trades went on daily. Lots of interest and activity. Not so much lately. What do you think is the reason for this? Based on the amount of brass found at the local range, shooting has reduced significantly. Do you think the reduction of trading activity is the result of cost of ammo, availability, hoarding (to preserve what one already has), waning interest, the "war" on guns, political concerns, or something else? I have noticed literally 99% of the brass picked up here and there is either .223/5.56 or 9mm. Find 40 S&W on occasion, but not very often. One fellow showed up with a 30-06 and he was mobbed with interested/curious shooters. The trading activity has changed, and I'm wondering about the various reasons why this is so.

I've wondered the same thing! Probably several things? Increased postal rates, the loss of a few members, increased prices of factory ammo. Hoping it will pick back up.
