    Old Stevens Cartridges

I'm a fan of old Stevens Tip-ups and the various cartridges used in them. For years I've been trying to identify what Stevens called the 38-100 in their 1876 catalog. Think I've determined this might be a 38 Ballard Extra Long. I find the 38-100 case is basically identical to the current 357 max. I might actually get this gun shooting again! Anyone with extra 357 max brass, please check my listing.

I have only ever found a few. If I had enough to be worth anything I would be glad to send them to you.
