ANNOUNCEMENT: Major Software Upgrade in the works

This site runs a software program called, vBulletin for it's operation. We are in the process of doing a MAJOR upgrade to that software, which also involves dozens of add-ons and tweaks. There could be delays in accessing this site. The upgrade is also affecting our parent site, castboolits.gunloads.com and a sister site, swaparms.com

Just wanted you all to be aware that it is coming so that you don't panic if any glitches happen along the way.

I was wondering when you would go from vBulletin 4.2.5 to the 5.x version. It is a major upgrade...and silly little stuff can cause some problems. I don't think you rely on most of the stuff that typically goes wrong like Calendar, custom template code....maybe a custom .htaccess file....but the good news is...it's a small site with very good and patient people.

And if anything goes wrong....heck...we'll just go to the reloading room and get some work done...we know you'll be back soon.
