It's true. I received a mailer from Bass Pro Shops today and it listed a Remington 870 express ("select wood models," choice of 12 or 20 gauge) for $199.97, after a $60 mail-in rebate. This is only on Wednesday and Thursday, November 22 & 23. If you are in the market for one then this may be the time to get it.

They also have a Winchester SXP Defender for $219.99, also after a rebate. Apparently, this model is made in Turkey, not in America.

Dick's Sporting Goods also has a really good deal on the new TC Compass bolt action rifles for black Friday. $180 after $75 mail in rebate and those bolt guns come with 5R rifling, threaded free floating barrel, adjustable trigger and life time warranty from S&W. They have them in a bunch of different calibers ranging from 204 ruger all the way up to 300 win mag. Including 6.5 creedmoor, 223 and 308 win. Made in the USA too.
