Might be loading 50AE...

A friend of mine just acquired a shiny new desert eagle on 50AE and he wants me to see about loading for him...

I have a lee pro1000 (I'm happy with it, don't hate) and I was wondering if anyone knows if it'll be able to load this round. I know that the overall case length is shorter than 223, which I already load on this press, I'm just not sure if there's room for dies or not and was wondering if anyone had any personal experience with this setup...

Dillon makes a specific shell plate for the 550 and when I look at the Lee site they don't list a shell plate or caliber conversion for the 50 AE. David

It's a lee #11, I already cross checked it. From reading on other forums it looks like it'll work, but I'll have to manually feed cases I think, not really the end of the world...

Excellent, luckily I just scored a couple pounds of H110 for 300blk, and still have a bit of imr4227 left over from my last batch.
