Looking for a used scope mount for a savage 340D 222. I know they have them at midway and brownells but hought I would throw it out there. If anyone can help me out just holler.

I have a Weaver mount with the rings built in that is a more solid setup than the B Square . What are you thinking ,,, trading goods or or a purchase ???

    10 spot,

I have 38's brass and nickle, 40 S&W, 9mm and 223 for trade if that is not of interest shoot me a whisper what you want for it in cash and I will get back to you.
have you had this mounted on a savage and does it center the scope and how was the bolt clearance.

    Hi Todd,

Yes I have had it on a Savage 325 in 30-30 . It is a fully centered mount with built in lower ring cradles and the top ring caps are removeable. There are several bolt styles for
the savages and those without the really big ball on the end do nicely , those with the the flat curved paddle are best but not all that much better. be sure first off if your gun is
drilled and taped for the side mount plate. If so that portion of the stock opposite the bolt and even with the magazine will show to be lowered and anywhere from 2 to 4 screws
( hopefully not just threaded holes ) will be visible there. These are the pre tapped holes to allow scope mounts . If they are not there it is a PITA to try to get the work done to
try mounting the plate and can easily be botched . As for the brass I am maxed out . Would trade for possible .223 bullets or as a cash deal $40.00 shipped to you by slow boat
econo class . lemme know .
