    Oh, ok. It's military brass. I found crimped primers on some commercial .223 Remington cases, or was it .300 BLK brass... I can't remember, but it was one of the two. I was surprised to find crimped primers in commercial brass.

    .223 is kind of strange like that. I got a load in once with many PMC headstamps. About 1/2 of them were crimped, 1/2 weren't.
