In the process of sorting out my stuff after being overseas for >5 years, I found a lot of 50 BMG blanks and fired blank brass. Anyone have a use for these? I no longer am interested in the project I kept them for.
Otherwise, to the recycle bin.

I had to read the thread real carefully, I didn't even know there was such a thing..
I remember going to National Guard summer training with my dad and firing the big 50 with blanks, about 51 years ago. David
As my avatar may indicate, the 50 was my 2nd favorite. 105mm was absolutely sweet. 50 BMG blanks were used, along with 5.56 and 7.62x51 blanks, for training (with an adapter, of course). Pic shows fired and unfired blanks next to a fired FMJ case.

I still have one unfired blank laying around somewhere... I believe it was from when my father was in the national guard. Do they even still make/use them?
I can't vouch for current production of blanks-I'm guessing other loadings have a higher priority I can confirm LC made them at least thru 2004.
I last physically witnessed 50BMG blanks in use in 2009 before I went overseas. There is no reason to believe current stocks aren't being used for training, today.

The 5.56 blanks can get cut down, and re-formed into 300 AAC BLackouts.
However, I am not aware of any similar type use for the other blanks. Scrap metal pile....

I have a few of the 5.56 blanks that I've cut down for 300aac, but I'm a bit leery of using them due to the cannelure around the bottom.
