    Advice needed

I don't load shot-shells, but a local has a couple presses for sale that may be worth picking up. One is a MEC 600 JR set up for 20 gauge, the other a MEC SM77 for 12 Gauge.

What are these worth in used condition?

I've been looking for a 600 Jr. in 16 gauge and they seem to go from around $100-$150 used. The 12 gauge versions are much more plentiful and I have heard of people getting them for as little as $50, but I don't know if they were complete or not. That being said, make sure it has all its parts before you pay $100. If it is missing some parts you can probably find them on ebay or another source. However, you'll need to know if it is a pre- or post-1982 model when ordering some parts. I don't know anything about the SM77 model, so I can't help you there.

Got them both for a reasonable price, although I only have one shotgun!

Now you need to buy a shotgun in the other gauge that you don't have (but that you now have a press for).

Have to buy two shotguns. The presses are 20 and 12 gauge. My Ithaca 37 is a 16.
