    Finally Had It!

Mama constantly complaining about me reloading in the house. So I just got back from Lowe's, after I ordered me a new shed kit. I am going to build me a little reloading room/man cave out in the back yard. I am planning to run electricy out to it, Build a bench, lighting, air conditioning, probably a little space heater. My brother is a general contractor and decided to give me a family rate. We figure everything is going to cost somewhere about $2500, his labor included. I will store all my reloaded ammo out there so she won't always be screaming what happens if the house catches on fire. The thing will be two stories insulated with a whole lot of storage upstairs. Trying to figure out if my laptop will connect to the house wireless network out there. If not I will also run an ethernet cable out to it.

good for you, I moved my reloading stuff out to my garage after I got bitched at for a primer going off while seating ( a 223 crimped pocket I missed) . now she has to come outside to bitch at me, which reduces the amount I now have to endure

better reinforce that upstairs for all that brass you horde, LOL

Well maybe the day she sucked a primer up the vacuum and it went bang caused it all.

I've got a good wife, she rarely goes into my office/reloading room. She vacuumed once, after about the third spent primer she sucked up said heck with it, now it's up to me to clean in there which is fine with me.

Here I thought I may be the only one whos wife doesn't gripe about what I do. My stuff is in 5 different locations, my room, family room, shop, patio, and my lead is piled up on the back 40 and never a peep.

My wife doesn't even want to go in my gun room. If she thinks she need anything from there she just tells me to bring it to her.

funny me wife only vacuumed the back room reloading area one, it sounded like a slot machine hitting the jackpot ( my one shotshell press bridged and burped a bunch of 7 shot) and you know its impossible to pick it all up in carpet

My reloading area is in the basement, with a bare concrete floor. Back when I was spraying lube onto brass the floor got kind of sticky, but otherwise I just clean it with a normal broom.

don't let the wife vacuum POWDER. Enough powder, and it's a bomb inside the vacuum cleaner.

Shed kit was supposed to be delivered today. Called Lowe's, they said salesman got the number wrong, it never got ordered. I say I ordered this Dec. 17th, you guys had my phone number and never bothered to call me about it while I was patiently waiting never bugging you about it? Anyways now the kit is supposed to arrive the 11th and they gave me back 100 bucks store credit for their screw up.

Here's the walls starting to go up.

And here's the wallls all up and the plyewood panel roof put on.

    The loft about 3/4's done.

Now need to shingle it, put the door on it, drywall it, wire her up, put in lighting and temp control stuff, and paint it.

Got the wiring started, internal junction/fuse box, going to have like 5 outlets and a light switch installed. Also bought a used bench with its own lights, a power strip, a shelf, a drawer, and he even threw in the vice he had mounted on it.

Was putting up drywall until we ran out of drywall. Looks like I'll need another 6-7 panels to finish. Then it's taping and slathering the mud around to prepare for painting.
