I have read in many other post that folks are having good luck with Russian primers and I've also read that they are junk. My personal experience is that I will NOT be using unreliable Russian primers. The last thing I want is to hear just a click when I fire at a Whitetail.

I primarily shoot with CCI or Winchester primer... However I got a good deal on a load of wolf primers and loaded up a few hundred. I have had a few not make noise when the trigger was pulled. Others that looked like a light strike but would work on the second try. I agree if that trophy whitetail walked into my scope cross hairs I sure wouldn't want to worry about this issue.

no problem seeing there is another layer layed the other way. a d that is above the org top and frame work. all screwed to the wall.

oops ment to install photos of new bench.
insted a deal where that hate law back east turned bad.
    sorry bout that.
not sure why my photos refuse to show up?
I was way too lazy to actually build one. I went on Craigslist and found a premade Production Basics bench for sale. I thought I paid way too much for it ($160), then I went to their website and saw what they were charging for one. Whoooeee! Just the little file cabinent drawer option that this bench has was like $180. Not to mention the florescent light and second shelf options. New the stuff would have cost me $1130. And he threw in a vice for free.

I went with a power strip in the back. I don't want cords hanging off the front of the bench. I am klutzy and that would be asking for trouble.

today i'll be grinding my teeth at my own stupidity.
i case lubed a small tub of .308 win cases, picked one up and ran it through the universal decapper.

pop goes the pin. a berdan style case. why did i assume it was boxer primed?

do not feel so bad. i am a brass hound and i pick up almost everything.
found a whole bunch of 308, most were boxer, but sad some were berdan.
so now i look before placing them in my pickup bag.
then there are the spiders living in some cases.

deer season is over (for me anyhow) was a bust. great country to be in fantastic views from atop a 8K foot mt top.
    IMG_1517.jpgIMG_1517.jpg

    oops doubled the same shot.
i know bad photos, taken with my Iphone and a telephoto lens.
now back to cleaning up my .40s&w brass, load it up and get to the 9mm, .45acp, 38 special, then back to (now three 5 gallon ) buckets of .223/5.56.
bought into a wet tumbler. the brass looks so good. so no more dull brass for me.

will be checking into all my "other" to see if any out there wants something. going slow so give me a couple months. but might need a lot of 45 colt, and couple for testing of 45-90.

just stopped for the day, did 2K rounds of .40s&w.
have another 4 K to go then need more bullets to fill all my empty cases. must be another 8-9K or them.
