I bought the Lee die set for 7.62 Nagant pistol a long time ago. But their set was really made for converting 32-20 cases to work in a 7.62 Nagant pistol, since nobody made Boxer primed 7.62 Nagant for years. But the cases were way too short to make the gas seal of the revolver work, and you lost velocity. Finally Hotshot, Fiocchi, and Prvi Partizan started selling Boxer primed brass. But two problems arose. The Lee shellholder di not even fit real Nagant brass, it fit the 32-20 cases. I fixed that a long time ago when you could buy a shellholder from RCBS (Now no longer made). Plus the seating rod would only fit the bullets flush to the neck, not below it like needed in the longer Nagant brass. It looks like Lee finally addressed this because the new sets all have a new seating rod that will seat the bullets below the neck.

Here is the new seating rod next to the old one. Big difference. But I wonder if Lee will ever make the correct shellholder?
