Finally Back Out Of The Nursing Home

After my cancer treatments totally destroyed any appetite I had and a crash weight loss caused all my muscle mass in my arms and legs disappear so I could not get up out of a low chair. I can now get up, but mobility still kind of limited, so no range trips yet till I build up some more muscle. Good thing I have an elliptical bicycle in the house.

I'm glad to hear you are doing better. I've been out of reloading and shooting for almost a year since my cancer treatments also. I just put some brass out for trade. Hopefully you'll be back out to the range soon. Best wishes.

Still not up for walking out and posting a target, but thinking maybe a trip to an indoor range might be nice. Where I can sit in my rollater (Like a 4 wheeled walker with a seat for if you get tired walking) and shoot.

I am home from the stem cell transplant.

They tell me that it's 3 months until I start feeling well...... But, at least I am home.

Walking for longer periods now. Probably won't be too long before I make it to an indoor range with automatic target setters.

Keep at it gandog and hopefully you'll be walking the 100 & 200 yd ranges soon. You should have a pile of reloads ready to go when you do get out.

Wishing you and Duke both the best on your recoveries. Stay positive.

I have like a shed and a closet and some shelves in my room FULL of reloads. And I just got in like 1000 40 cal S&W cases in.
