Hello to everyone. Finally found you guys again. Been looking for quite sometime figured the site was gone.
What's old is NEW again................
Thanks for having me here. Just in short...... I have been reloading for 13 years now. Been casting bullets for about 11 years. I do hunt and fish and spend lots of time shooting.
Old timer from the original board here. I live seven miles from the busiest free public access range in Georgia. Well, at least it WAS free. It now requires the purchase of an annual pass for $19 or so. Still a bargain. I have seen people drive from an hour away to shoot here. It has about a dozen covered tables. I also have another range that costs $5 to shoot that is about 20 miles from the house. Most of the shooters there are military folks who live on base and do not reload. Beginning in around 2006 I started reloading, picking up ALOT of brass. I shipped tens of thousands of rounds, traded etc on various internet forums.
Well, I dont reload or shoot as much as I used to, but I'm thinking of getting back into it. The State range is now manned by a range master. The "pick up" brass has leaned out somewhat due to this range master figuring out that it's worth a few bucks. Also, far less shooters are out there now that you have to pay, and ammo has dryed up. I'll try to get down there once a week and see what I can find.
Good to be back and see some familiar dogs.
