BT Sniper makes the tools, and MANY of us have his tools, and do that swaging......

You have some brass to donate???

If you're looking to get into swaging, then spend some time reading the swaging area at castboolits.

Oh cripes, they suggest a MUCH stronger press! I thought it might be easier! Still thinking about it, though. I'm all out of my third bag of 2500 7.62X54R 150 grain bullets I got from Wideners for $152 a bag shipping included. Now that they no longer sell them, the cheapest replacements I found was $125 per 1000 and does NOT include shipping....and they are pulled TRACER rounds. My range don't want no tracers.

What size cases to what sized bullets are you offering. I mean I have LOTS of pistols. And do you just use lead wire for the lead?

Have you successfully swaged jacketed bullets using old fired brass as jackets, and can you share any insights or tips for someone considering this process?

I have BT's Swagging dies for turning 9mm brass into .40 jacketed bullets, although I haven't used them yet. I have tons of 9mm brass and have been separating out all of the "WCC" and "WMA" headstamped from everything else thinking that by using all of the same headstamp it might produce a more consistent bullet weight (although probably not, LOL) My "Issue" up until now is how to anneal the cases because my Wife just wouldn't go for me using her oven. But my Son bought her a Pellet Barbecue grill and she was going to get rid of her perfectly good Stainless 6 burner gas grill. So before she could haul it off, I snagged it and put it in the Garage. I'm thinking that one this big will allow me to anneal a large batch of 9mm brass all at once. Now I just have to get out there and do it, LOL!
